Modeling using reversing

It corresponded to "Reversed" that existed in the processing of Virtual Reality Studio. To refer to former skeleton even for skeleton information for the mesh that was not able to reverse, and reversed though this reversing was a function that the mesh was able to be reversed to the symmetry axis, it operated by the skeleton as which the reversing origin and reversing destination was the same. Come to being able to reverse this skeleton, and making a completely symmetric model become possible this time. Please refer to help "Symmetric mesh" of Virtual Reality Studio for "Reverse" function.
It is read with necessary information for the skeleton reversing set when the FFXI model reading is executed. However, this reversing information puts on the symmetric skeleton confirmed by watching when "FFXI model reading" is developed, and is not a translation to make symmetric information buried under FFXI a radical. (The information is not in FFXI. ) Therefore, it is forecast enough for the possibility that this reversing information changes in the future to exist and to find the mistake in this reversing information. I will get the best method no use of this reversing and the edit of the entire mesh and get the note if I safely do modeling.

It explains as an example of a part of the skeleton structure being set for actual reversing information. (When the figure below is clicked, the expansion display is done.)


The name is added in the skeleton according to the following table.
Form of name Meaning
Skeleton-?? It is shown that the skeleton is symmetric and doesn't exist.
Skel-??<Skel-??> It is shown that the skeleton that becomes symmetric exists in the skeleton.

The skeleton name that becomes the symmetry is enclosed with '<>' after the self-name when a symmetric skeleton exists in the skeleton and it specifies it.
Reversing information is not set in the scene file made from a past FFXI reading. The FFXI model reading is executed with the scene is read to set it, and the model selected. When the tab "Skeleton name definition" is chosen, the race is chosen, and the OK button is pushed, the race's reversing information is set.


When the model is read by the FFXI model reading, the identification of the race of set reversing information is judged from the file name of the read skeleton. If the file name is not a name of original FFXI, when reading specifying the file directly by "Direct file specification", reversing information is not set. Please use above-mentioned "Skeleton name definition" to set reversing information to the scene.
